ZIMNY is a family business whose roots date back to 1997 when the first block of 2000m2 - now 4.2ha - was built. Since then, we have been constantly developing and improving our skills in the production of high-quality tomatoes, which has earned us recognition as one of the largest SPECIALITES tomato producers in Poland. We constantly strive to ensure that fresh tomatoes are available to you for most of the year. Our season starts as early as the beginning of April and lasts until mid-November, which means that we can enjoy the harvest of our plantations for most of the year. It is extremely important to ensure that our customers have constant access to fresh and tasty tomatoes, which are not only rich in vitamins and nutrients, but also go well in many dishes and recipes.
The farm covers an area of 4.2 hectares of greenhouses, allowing us to control the environmental conditions in which our plants are grown. We have a state-of-the-art climate computer that allows us to precisely regulate temperature, humidity and lighting, creating optimal conditions for growth.
We use biosecurity on our farm to make our products as healthy as possible. Tomatoes are pollinated by bumblebees, which play a key role in plant pollination. Bumblebees are excellent pollinators, effectively transferring pollen from flower to flower, which contributes to healthy growth and productive fruiting. This minimizes our dependence on artificial pollination methods and at the same time contributes to keeping the ecosystem in harmony.
Our tomatoes can be found in many retail chains and at various commercial exchanges in Poland.
